You could take the ferry, wait around at the port, and deal with schedules. Or you could book a private boat trip with us and leave when you want, come back when you want, and actually enjoy the ride. These trips include a captain so you can relax and take in the views. We'll drop anchor at beaches, give you time to swim and explore, and get you back to Santorini the same day.

Anafi
| Distance From Santorini: | 15 Nautical Miles (28 km) |
|---|---|
| Travel Time (at 20–26 knots / ~30 mph) | 30-40 Minutes |
Anafi is the easiest day trip from Santorini to another island. Just 35 minutes by private boat and you're somewhere completely different. No airport, ferries only run a few times a week, and that's why it still feels like the Greece you see in old photos. Empty beaches, a tiny village, a few tavernas serving whatever came in that morning.
Popular attractions:
- Kalamos Rock is a massive monolith on the east side of the island with a monastery built into its base. Second largest rock formation in Europe after Gibraltar.
- Chora is the main village with white Cycladic houses, no cars, and views over the whole island.
- Monastery of Zoodochos Pigi sits at the foot of Kalamos and is worth the walk up.
- Roukounas Beach has soft sand, crystal clear water, and natural shade from tamarisk trees. One of the best beaches in the Cyclades.
- Dragon Cave is a sea cave with natural pools inside. Good for a swim stop on the way.
Ios
| Distance From Santorini: | 21 Nautical Miles (28 km) |
|---|---|
| Travel Time (at 20–26 knots / ~30 mph) | 40-50 Minutes |
Ios is a popular choice for island hopping from Santorini. It has a reputation as a party island but once you get past the port, it's one of the prettiest islands in the Cyclades. The main town is a maze of white alleys climbing up a hillside, and the beaches on the south coast are stunning.
Popular attractions:
- Chora is the hilltop village with windmills, narrow streets, and some of the best sunset views in the islands.
- Homer's Tomb is the reported burial site of the poet. Whether it's real or not, the hike up gives you great views.
- Manganari Beach is on the south side and worth the trip alone. Clear turquoise water, soft sand, a few beach bars if you want them.
- Paleokastro has Byzantine castle ruins and panoramic views over the whole island.
- Skarkos is an excavated Bronze Age settlement if you're into history. One of the most important archaeological sites in the Cyclades.
Sikinos
| Distance From Santorini: | 23 Nautical Miles (43 km) |
|---|---|
| Travel Time (at 20–26 knots / ~30 mph) | 50-70 Minutes |
Sikinos is the best private boat trip from Santorini if you want total peace and quiet. Around 300 people live here year round. One village, one port, a handful of beaches, and that's it. If you want to see what the Cyclades felt like before tourism, this is the place.
Popular attractions:
- Chorio is the main village built into a hillside with traditional stone houses and a fortress-like monastery at the top.
- Episkopi is an ancient Roman mausoleum that got converted into a Byzantine church centuries ago. One of the best preserved examples in Greece.
- Monastery of Zoodochos Pigi was built like a fortress to protect against pirates. Still standing and still worth seeing.
- Malta Beach is a quiet pebble beach with transparent water and almost no one around.
- Alopronia is the port village with a couple of excellent seafood tavernas right on the water.
